‘Vision 2026’ Gramin Dosti project to adopt 100 villages: T. Arif Ali

Doha: General Secreatry of Human Welfare Foundation Mr. T. Arif Ali said that ‘Vision 2026’ has taken up the project to adopt and renovate 100 villages within the next 10 years. The plan to adopt villages is prepared under the project called ‘Gramin Dosti’. The new project is formed based on the experience and lessons learnt from the previous activities in the villages. When the Sachar Committee was published, the realization that the backwardness of the Muslim society cannot be solved only by the government schemes gave form to the project ‘Vision 2016’ which was started in 2006.

He said that the projects under ‘Vision 2016’ have benefitted a lot in solving the backwardness of the minority communities. Arif Ali who had come to attend the Youth Convention held under the auspices of Doha International Centre for Inter-Faith Dialogue spoke to ‘Gulf Madhyamam’.

T Arif Ali sb (General Secretary, HWF) received the Momento from DICID (Doha International Centre for Interfaith Dialogue) accrediting the social endeavors conducted by Human Welfare Foundation. The award was presented Mohammed Al Ghamdi, Member of Director Board, during the Ramadan Youth Conference conducted by Youth Forum, Qatar at Al Arabi Club, Doha Qatar.
