Vision 2026 initiative: Humanitarian Relief Aid for Rohingyan refugees

Nuh, Haryana [29/10/17]:- Human Welfare Foundation and Society for Bright Future jointly organized humanitarian relief for Rohingyan refugees living in different camps at Haryana on 29th October 2017.

A medical camp was organized by Al- Shifa Multispecialty Hospital, New Delhi for the Rohangeans in Chandaini Camp, Nuh, Haryana. More than 500 patients benefitted through health checkup and free medicine. 50 cases were diagnosed which needs further monitoring and treatment and 7 serious needs immediate surgery.

Foundation distributed relief materials (cloth, mat, bed sheet, bed, foot wares etc) to more than 1500 persons of camps based on the survey conducted by its volunteers. Lunch provided to all members of the 5 camps (more than 1500 people) on this occasion.

"As part of its Vision 2026 project Foundation has been implementing relief projects to Rohingean refugees since 2012 in the form of food, cloth and medicine. Now we are looking for their temporary roofing, education and treatment. We appeal to philanthropists and NGO’s to come out for the humanitarian help of these refugees" T Arif Ali, General Secretary, Human Welfare Foundation.
