"Scholar Pabitra Sarkar called on the Muslims to go forward in education"
Kolkata: Muslims are the child of soil of this country. In any way, they can not be forced to live like second class citizens.In a program of the voluntary organization called the Human Welfare Foundation, the noted linguist Dr. Pabitra Sarkar delivered this recognition. According to him, Muslims are lagging behind in this country. And the government and society will have to take a leading role to uplift this community.At the end of his speech, Mr Sarkar greeted many students by giving the memento, check and award copies.
The Vivekananda Auditorium of the State Youth Center at Maulali, Kolkata were full of audience including guardians and students. About One hundreds fifty of students were felicitated. The organization's General secretary T. Arif Ali, Vice Charman Mamunni Molvi, Deputy Commissioner of Sales Tax Izhar Alam, Visvabharati University professor Dr. Sirajul Islam, Sr. Manager Salimullah Khan, eminent entrepreneur and social worker and Cricket Manager BCC Moinuddin Bin Maksud, JIH State President Nuruddin Shah, General secretary Abdur Rafiq, president of SIO West Bengal Osman Gani were also present as guest.
Speakers in their speech, encouraged the students to learn their professional education as well as education of morality to build the country and the nation . Shabnam Hossain, a student who came to receive the award, expressed her views on this reception, saying that the larger environment, in the heart of the city of Kolkata, this honour will make them further encouraged to move forward in the coming days.
The students were felicitated with citation, cash money and memento. This is the regular Program conducting by HWF since 2010, it is to motivate the students for their further studies. It is inspiring to the parents and students both for their hard efforts put for this achievement.
