Human Welfare Foundation to Establish Multi-purpose ‘Vision Harmony Centre’ at Brijpuri in Northeast Delhi.

The Foundation Stone for the proposed multi-storied ‘Vision Harmony Centre’ at Brijpuri, Mustafabad Town, in Northeast Delhi was laid by Mr. T. Arif Ali, Chairman, Vision Governing Council, in the presence of many dignitaries. The community learning centre is established by Human Welfare Foundation, under the aegis of Vision 2026.

Human Welfare Foundation (HWF), one of India’s leading nongovernmental organizations along with its associate organizations has been providing relief and carrying out rehabilitation activities in the riot-affected areas of Northeast Delhi. The Centre is another step towards empowering the community.

Vision Harmony Centre will provide a platform for various communities to come together and work towards peace and harmony through positive interventions in the fields of education, healthcare, women empowerment, and skill development.

The five-storied Vision Harmony Centre coming up at Mustafabad will be housing a Medical Clinic, Women Empowerment Centre, Basic Literacy Program, Adult Literacy Program, Nagarik Vikas Kendra, Cum Career Guidance Centre, and Vocational Training Centre.

The Medical Clinic at the CLS will provide the residents with affordable basic medical care and create awareness among them on health and hygiene through Medical Camps and Health Check-up Camps.

The Women Empowerment Centre will conduct training programs and provide career and individual guidance and counseling to the women community in order to empower and equip them with necessary life skills.

The Basic Literacy Program and Adult Literacy Program will help in imparting basic literacy skills to non-literate adults, provide them opportunities for continuing education, make them self-dependent and help them leverage available government assistance.

The Nagrik Vikas Kendra (NVK) will help the target people connect with government schemes and help them avail it. Career Guidance Centre will provide students in the region with career guidance, scholarship awareness, and counseling services.

The Vocational Training Centre to be part of the CLC will impart skill-oriented short-term vocational training programs to the youths in basic computer typing, data entry, and sewing, and help them participate in economic activity through their inclusion in financial institutions.

The idea of this Community Learning Centre is based on 5 of UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

HWF, under the aegis of Vision 2026 is dedicated to carrying out humanitarian and development programs to fight poverty and people’s sufferings by working in partnership with vulnerable communities regardless of faith, caste, gender or political beliefs.
